The Film Space is a long-standing not-for-profit organisation that focuses on film education through various established partnerships and bespoke teaching resources.
The organisation recognises the key role that teachers and educators play in introducing children and young people to a wide variety of moving images.
It looks at film as an art form in itself and also as a way of exploring other curriculum areas through providing feature film related study guides.
The Film Space seeks to encourage and build an understanding and appreciation of the moving image, in all its forms, amongst children and young people in full-time education.
Previously known as ‘Film Education’, The Film Space team has a long history of working with the FDA and film distributors to create award-winning classroom teaching resources.
